Summer Outdoor Activities

It’s mathematically impossible to do everything Alberta has on offer in a single summer. Slather on the sunblock and pack a picnic. We’ve got a busy few months. • Do it: Camping in the mountains or Badlands means hiking, climbing or mountain biking, then staying up late around the fire. • Good to know: Want a picturesque stroll and lunch at an alpine lake? Maybe a hot journey across a stunning desert? How about an exhilarating trek to a rocky summit? With thousands of kilometres of trails, there’s a hiking path for everyone. • Only here: Kneel in the dirt with a paleontological expert for a genuine fossil dig at Dinosaur Provincial Park.
