Western Canada’s rural history comes to life at Heritage Park’s Country Kickback, August 26th and 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This fun-filled salute to agriculture includes hands-on activities, live entertainment, games, and a variety of demonstrations. Watch antique steam-powered farm equipment at work threshing and baling in the wheat field, take part in a family challenge and spin your partner at a barn dance. New this year is a sheep shearing demonstration and a sheep to shawl competition on Saturday. Groups face off in a challenging task to turn freshly sheared wool into a woven shawl!

As one of the few sites in North America with two steam locomotives, the Park's trains take centre stage for two days with demonstrations, hands-on activities, and exciting exhibits.
