Multi Rec Centre

Slave Lake, Alberta

The Multi-Rec Centre includes 2 regulation-sized ice surfaces, field house, indoor running track, indoor children’s play area and a concession. Check website for public skating times and events. Built in the 1970’s, it is the home to the Wolves Junior Hockey Club, Winterhawks, Senior Men’s hockey, Lakeside Figure Skating Club, Men’s Rec Hockey, Rusty Nuts Old-timers and Slave Lake Minor Hockey. The arena is available for ice bookings from September to April and for the cement surface from April to September. Rates vary depending on the event and the user group. The Field house is available for booking year round.

Hosted by Whitecap Motorsports Park Association, the event features challenging trails through forest and muskeg, door prizes, children's buried treasure fun, 50/50 draw, free chili supper, and free BBQ foot-longs at midpoint on the trail.
