The Memorial Community Centre Arena was opened in 1963 and renovated in 1974 to host events for the Canada Winter Games. The winter Arena season runs from October 1st to March 31st and offers a wide variety of tournaments, games, drop-in opportunities and special events.Memorial Community Centre Arena features an indoor skating facility with free public and family skating. The heated spectator area is great for those wanting to enjoy the view. Hockey game entry is typically complimentary.
The Multi-Rec Centre includes 2 regulation-sized ice surfaces, field house, indoor running track, indoor children’s play area and a concession. Check website for public skating times and events. Built in the 1970’s, it is the home to the Wolves Junior Hockey Club, Winterhawks, Senior Men’s hockey, Lakeside Figure Skating Club, Men’s Rec Hockey, Rusty Nuts Old-timers and Slave Lake Minor Hockey. The arena is available for ice bookings from September to April and for the cement surface from April to September. Rates vary depending on the event and the user group. The Field house is available for booking year round.
Exhibition Park is Located in Lethbridge and services the community in many ways from agriculture shows to facility rentals and summer entertainment such as fairs and concerts.
