Snowmobiling Winter Outdoor Activities

It’s just not practical to have 100 horses pull you across a frozen prairie landscape. Get serious winter horsepower from a snowmobile instead. There are thousands of kilometres of groomed powdery trails to explore, including the legendary Golden Triangle in northern Alberta. • Do it: Let the snowmobile do the work to get you up a mountain. Tours through the Rockies can cater to total rookies or experienced riders. Anyone can learn to tame the backcountry. • Offbeat: Get a bit weird and sign up for a snowmobile drag race across a frozen lake. What’ve you got to lose?
