Looking for a reason to stay active during the winter months? Try snowshoe running with the Blitz! This race is a great day of hiking or running snowshoe trails while enjoying Lake Louise area's pristine mountain landscape in Banff National Park. If you're new to snowshoeing the 5km course is a scenic flat route across the lake then back along the shoreline trail. If you need more of a challenge the 10km course veers off and up into the trees on deep snow and packed trail sections with an elevation gain of 295m. If you can walk you can snowshoe!
