From September to June, we are open 5 days a week and July to August, we are open 7 days a week. The Peace River Northern Alberta Railway Station, built in 1916, is a 20th century wood frame building. It consists of a one and a half story passenger and operations building with an attached one story freight shed, each with bell cast roofs. It serves as the tourist information hub for the community. You can explore the period rooms furnished as they would have been in the station’s early days of the 1920s and 1930s.
