The Rolling Hills Reservoir Campground lets campers take advantage of a prairie oasis. That would be the Rolling Hills Reservoir, which is about 20 km (12 mi) south of Brooks. The reservoir is a critical part of the irrigation system in eastern Alberta, but it’s also a lovely spot for a swim or some boating. The campground has 110 sites, with another 35 that are leased out on a seasonal basis. There are two group camping areas, two playgrounds and two sandy beaches with sheltered swimming areas. The campground was created in 2002 and features a host of modern amenities, including washrooms, showers and laundry facilities. The water is safe to drink. Campsites are large and offer power hookups. The marina includes a boat launch and boat slips that can be booked with a credit card 48 hours before your arrival.
