Park Lake Campground

This lakeside campground is in Park Lake Provincial Park, 18 km (11 mi) northwest of Lethbridge. It’s easy to find, and you’ll find it easy to relax once you arrive. The campground features 18 unserviced sites and 54 that have power. It’s best to book well in advance of your visit to secure a lakeside site. Regardless of where you pitch your tent or park your RV, you’ll enjoy the shade of mature trees, easy access to the beach, and a playground for the kids. Park Lake is ideal for sailboats, kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. Motorized boats are allowed, but the lake has a speed limit of 12 km/h (7 mph). That’s perfect for fishing boats, and the lake is home to perch, walleye, sauger, whitefish, burbot and northern pike. The area also has good hiking and mountain biking trails and is popular among birdwatchers.
