The Avro Museum is dedicated to preserving and presenting the accomplishments of A.V. Roe Canada as a world leader in the early age of jet aircraft. Registered in April 1997, the organization has researched and uncovered many Avro stories. It also has a major project underway—building a 60-per-cent- scale, piloted replica of the Avro Arrow. It can be seen at the museum’s hangar at Springbank Airport, during its monthly open house on the second Sunday of every month.
