Join artists Paul Maheke, Lan “Florence” Yee, and katie marie bruce for insightful talks and tours of the new exhibitions In spite of my own desire to see you disappear, Do weeds still grow in Heaven?, and Tandem Inadequacies. Part of the Articulations Art Lecture Series, these events offer engaging presentations from contemporary artists and arts professionals. Local and international figures, including artists, curators, critics, theorists, art historians, and filmmakers, share their practices and engage audiences in open, critical discussions. Paul Maheke, a multidisciplinary artist based in Montpellier, has presented solo exhibitions at Mostyn, Wales (2024); Kunsthalle Bratislava, Slovakia (2023); High Line Art, New York (2022); The Renaissance Society, Chicago (2021); Collection Pinault, Paris (2021); and Chisenhale Gallery, London (2019). His group exhibitions include Tate Modern, London (2024); Rudolfinum, Prague (2023); and ICA Miami (2023). This series offers a chance to delve into diverse artistic practices and perspectives.
