The Homestead Antique Museum bears witness to the ingenuity and perseverance of the homesteaders who came with nothing to make a living in a new land. The museum displays a comprehensive collection of their wares—more than 10,000 antiques and artifacts from the Victorian and Edwardian eras. These include furniture, household accessories, artistic instruments, work implements, autos, and garments. Go next door to the Murray House—an entire house purchased out of a 1919 issue of the Eaton’s catalog, which offers a tea room in July and August.
