Located 21 km southeast of Drumheller, the Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site is considered Canada's most complete historic coal mine and boasts the last wooden tipple in the country. It tells amazing stories of the miners from around the world who came to seek their fortunes in the Drumheller Valley, located in the heart of the Canadian Badlands.
