Cycling & Mountain Biking Summer Outdoor Activities

Whether you're going up or down, cycling in Alberta is accessible, adrenaline-filled and addictive. Get ready for some of the most scenic rides in the world. • Only here: The Icefields Parkway from Banff to Jasper is a bucket-list ride past mountains and glaciers. You’ll redefine exhilarating. • City cycling: Edmonton and Calgary each have a developing system of bike lanes handy for commuting from brunch to lunch. • Day trip: The 27-km Banff Legacy Trail connects the alpine towns of Banff and Canmore. The trail is comfortably separated from the highway. It takes two to four hours round-trip, give or take time for mountain-gaping and deer spotting.

eValley Tours

Edmonton, Alberta

We are proud to be the first to market Pedelec (ebike) tours in North America. A World Class Pedelec Bicycle Tour operated by Revolution Cycle in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. A pedelec (from pedal electric cycle) is a bicycle where the rider’s pedaling is assisted by a small electric motor; thus they are a type of low-powered e-bike. However, unlike some other types of e-bikes, pedelecs are classified as conventional bicycles in many countries by road authorities rather than as a type of electric moped. Pedelecs include an electronic controller which cuts power to the motor when the rider is not pedaling or when a certain speed (in Canada 32 km/h (20 MPH)) has been reached. Pedelecs are useful for people who ride in hilly areas or in strong headwinds. A pedelec can be any style of bicycle, but a pedelec city bike is very common. Our current activities include a 5 hour tour and a 2 hr tour available Monday through Saturday. We do special request Team building tours with more options coming all the time.
