Victoria Golf Course is Canada's oldest city-run course. First developed in 1896, before the City of Edmonton was founded, Victoria's fairways and greens are somewhat forgiving, ideal for beginners or mid-handicap players. Victoria's prime river valley location offers an excellent backdrop of the Alberta Legislature and University of Alberta buildings. Located next to the Victoria Golf Course, the driving range is a 2-tiered 61 stall practice facility featuring target greens. Rental golf clubs are available and the Driving Range is licensed and serves snacks.
