Nestled in beautiful Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park, the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation is a unique research and education centre that explores the importance of the boreal forest, especially for their migratory birds. This green LEED building hosts interactive exhibits, visitor information services, education programs for all ages, interpretive trails, and a gift shop showcasing local artisans. Year-round outdoor education programs are offered including cross country ski and snow rentals during the winter season. Check out the Nest: the beautiful comfort camping facility right on site.
