Strachan Campground

Enjoy a quiet, rustic experience at Strachan Campground. Prairie Creek runs past treed campsites, which provide privacy for campers. All sites are unserviced and are large enough to accommodate trails and RVs. Campers should note that there is no permit booth on site. The campground is only 30km southwest of Rocky Mountain House, providing access to any amenities you might need during your stay. The area around Strachan Campground is popular for off-highway vehicles, and there are many trails and informal staging areas outside the campground. If you plan to bring your off-highway vehicle, please note that offloading or use within the campground is prohibited. Please ensure you bring firewood, drinking water, and a map of the area if you plan to visit as no services are available, and cell phone reception is limited.
