Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park, or Laurier Park as its commonly referred to, sits on the north bank of the North Saskatchewan River and extends from Whitemud Drive to Buena Vista Drive. The scenic river valley location makes it a fantastic location to visit, enjoy a picnic, go cycling or hiking, play a little softball, pitch some horseshoes, or just plain relax. There’s a trailer boat launch and boat trailer parking available, multiple small paved parking lots, and accessible washrooms. To the north of Laurier Park, you’ll find Buena Vista Park with a large off-leash area, across the river sits Whitemud Park.
