The Rocky Museum showcases the story of the settlers who homesteaded in this area, worked in the lumber camps and sawmills and sent their children to one-room schoolhouses. Visit the 1911 Meadows Forestry cabin, the 1923 Glacier schoolhouse and wander through their front gardens. Inside, there are two floors of historical exhibits, artifacts, and a working player piano. The exhibits reflect the daily lifestyle of the people who called Rocky Mountain House and area home. The Rocky Museum is open year round with extended summer hours. Visit the gift shop for souvenirs, history books and creations by local artisans. Admission is charged.
