Red Deer Arts Council

The Red Deer Arts Council is a community arts service organization working with visual, literary, and performing member artists and local cultural organizations to enhance the community through arts and culture. As an umbrella organization, they work with artists of all levels of experience from all backgrounds, and their vision is of a vibrant community that celebrates and nurtures arts and creativity. Their Mission is to inspire, support, and stimulate arts and culture in Red Deer through education, advocacy, and programming. They operate the Kiwanis Public Art Gallery at Red Deer Public Library and a Community Gallery at their office downtown. Gallery openings are on the first Friday of every month. They have the summertime In the Neighbourhood Concert Series, a Community Choir, arts programs for folks with disabilities, scholarships, awards, offer training opportunities, provide activities during Alberta Culture Days, and so much more!
