Prairie Creek Campground

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful camping experience, head to Prairie Creek Campground. It has 50 unserviced sites, including a number of pull-through sites. The mature forest and ample space between campsites create privacy for campers. While there are limited amenities within the campground, it is only a 30-minute drive to Rocky Mountain House. The highway leading to the campground is paved, so you get the peace of a secluded campground without having to travel on dusty backroads. Many campers like to take advantage of the proximity to off-highway vehicle trails. We encourage visitors to use the campground as their base, but please note that off-loading and/or using OHVs inside the campground is prohibited. They must remain on trailers to travel to the nearby trail system and staging areas.
