Oldman River Provincial Recreation Area

Oldman River Provincial Recreation Area offers a laid‑back escape along the banks of the Oldman River. Open from mid‑May to the end of September, the campground features 25 unserviced sites—some reservable up to 90 days in advance, others first‑come, first‑served—with pull‑through spots. Amenities include firepits and vault/pit toilets; visitors should bring their own drinking water as tap/pump sources onsite are not potable. Daily rate is reasonable. Beyond camping, the Day Use area invites picnicking, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, and geocaching. It’s an ideal destination for those seeking peace, nature, and the flow of river life.
