Nomiya - Ellerslie is a local family-owned business that wanted to bring traditional ramen to Edmonton, opening its first location in 2011. Nomiya’s ramen process uses all of the techniques and components of traditional ramen. The homemade broth, Chef Jeff Chan’s special recipe, is a labour of love 45 years in the making, taking at least eight hours to make. Each ramen is created with sauces unique to Nomiya. Nomiya’s ramen is always finished with the ideal amount of char sui, fixings, and noodles to complete the meal perfectly.
