Moonshine Lake Provincial Park

This provincial park is near the northern Alberta town of Spirit River. The park surrounds Moonshine Lake, where visitors can fish for trout and powerboat. In the summertime, visitors can play baseball at the ball diamond and practice skills at the bike park. In winter, you can cross-country ski along 18 km of groomed trails, ice fish in the stocked lake, ice skate, snowshoe, and even camp. With an abundance of birds and other wildlife in the area, the park is a nature lover’s delight.
