If you're up for a little drive, head down the highway to Kinuso. The Kinosayo Museum was founded in 1983 and is run by a volunteer board; people in the local area have donated the majority of the collections. For those interested in wildlife, the Kinosayo Museum has one of the most developed wildlife exhibits in Northern Alberta. Kinosayo Museum seeks to collect, research, preserve and portray the history and environmental aspects of Kinuso and the surrounding district. There are collections from Indigenous culture, Ukrainian culture and pioneer life, and the pioneer logging, agriculture, hunting, and trapping industry. The Swan River School is fully restored and located on the museum grounds. And a fully working UGC grain elevator is located in Kinuso, beside the railway. They are preserving the past for future generations to enjoy.
