Hartell Homestead

The Hartell Homestead opened its doors in 2020 with a mission to showcase fresh and local ingredients while bringing people closer to their food. Owners Nick and Alli are looking forward to a grand opening in May 2021. The farm started with just ducks and horses but quickly grew with the addition of the Highland cattle, chickens and goats, along with a large, kitchen garden. With a background in agriculture, Nick has always had a love for good food and good food practices. Coming from an agricultural family and having studied agriculture and meat processing in college, he has a passion and knowledge for growing good food and growing it sustainably. Nick wanted a place where he could educate people about where their food comes from as well as run classes to help them achieve their own dreams of self-sufficiency. This led to the opening of the Hartell Homestead.Stop in for fresh local food, local art, meet the animals, or take a class. He is always happy to share his knowledge.
