Gooseberry Campground

Gooseberry Campground, located in Gooseberry Provincial Recreation Area near Bragg Creek, offers forested campsites by the Elbow River for a peaceful escape. Campers can choose from more than 80 sites tucked into an aspen and pine forest, with both traditional and walk-in tent sites that keep a rustic, close-to-nature feel. The recent addition of powered sites makes it easier for RV travellers to stay comfortably while still enjoying the quiet, wooded setting. From the campground, visitors can fish in the nearby Elbow River, set out on local hikes, or use Gooseberry as a base to explore other outdoor opportunities along Highway 66 in Alberta’s foothills.
