Canadian Energy Museum

On a farm southwest of Edmonton in 1947, a huge oil discovery at Leduc #1 Canadian Energy Museum forever changed Canada’s energy future. This National Historic Site tells the story of Alberta’s energy beginnings and provides an in-depth look into the resources and industries which built the province. Canadian Energy Museum is composed of a museum filled with educational displays and artifacts, and an outdoor space complete with all types of oilfield and heavy industry equipment.
