Aylmer Provincial Recreation Area

Aylmer Provincial Recreation Area is a campsite a ways from the beaten path. There are unserviced campsites at this location but be prepared to get here with a vehicle that is capable of winding gravel roads. Situated next to the North Saskatchewan River, Aylmer is an excellent site for canoeists looking to start their journey or have a break on their trip along the river. Directions: 2 km west of Nordegg turn south onto the forestry trunk road 734 highway. Drive 12 km until crossing the North Saskatchewan River and Aylmer is on the east side of the road.
