Built in 1978 for the Commonwealth Games, the Argyll Velodrome is a 333.33-metre concrete-surfaced track. The Velodrome plays host to many groups and programs. Interested in trying out the 37-degree banked surface? The Velodrome offers drop-in times for the general public. For $5 you’ll get the use of a track bike, helmet and a brief introduction to the track. The BMX Track is home to the Edmonton BMX Association, one of the largest BMX clubs in Alberta. Members range from 5-55, and the track attracts a diverse crowd of racers for the weekly races.
