Sounds from the Valley: Music, Words & Art is now in its third season at Snow Valley Aerial Park. Located next to the main ski lodge building on the grass, artists perform their craft. This free event runs each Tuesday in July and August. All artists and performers are supported by the Edmonton Public Library in either Capital City Records, Capital City Press or Capital City Arts. New this season is the visual arts contribution and, in support of the Edmonton Food Bank, they'll be collecting non-perishable food items at each event. Cash donations will be accepted directly through a QR code posted in the collection area. This event is very grassroots in that every performer or artist is local and may just be beginning their journey. It is a magical time to experience at the bottom of Snow Valley Ski Club across from the aerial tower just next to Creekside Eats food and beverage outlet and their Target and Mini Golf attraction.
