Sherwood Park Highland Gathering

The Sherwood Park Highland Gathering is a Celtic Festival with piping and drumming competitions, highland dance, Scottish heavy events, and more! Saturday, starting at 9 am, enjoy bagpipes, drums, and highland dance. Competitions run throughout the day, with a massed band performance at 12:30 pm. Activities end around 4 pm. From 6 pm to 11 pm, join the Family Ceilidh, a Celtic party with local band Celtara, North Stratton Pipe Band, and the Celtic Ceilidh Dance Academy. Sunday features Viking combat shows, sheep and duck herding, dog agility demonstrations, and Celtic entertainment. Both days include a marketplace, local artisans, a kids' zone, food trucks, and beer gardens. Sunday runs from 9 am to 4 pm. Bicycle parking is available, and donations to the Strathcona Food Bank are encouraged.
