Harvest Festival

Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of bringing in the harvest. Everyone looks forward to the steam threshing and ploughing, tractor starting demos, children’s Carnival, petting zoo and bread baking and tasting. View the modern John Deere equipment display from Horizon Ag & Turf and check out field work including swathing and combining. And for the young and young at heart, take a tractor ride on a 1914 Rumely Steam Traction Engine. There's lots to do in the main museum building including learning how to make rope, seeing how a grain elevator works, and dancing to the music of the Foggy Minded Mountain Boys! They recommend you arrive early or purchase your admission tickets in advance to avoid lineups.
