The Cochrane Ecological Institute presents its annual symposium! This year's theme of the Symposium is "Wilderness, Wildlife and Human Interaction.” This broad theme will encompass all aspects of wilderness and human interaction to generate new ideas, and creative methods towards an achievable, more sustainable, healthy planet. The symposium intends to explore new perspectives aimed at generating a Plan B, as they have no Planet B. Topics will include: the preservation of indigenous wildlife, management of domestic and wild landscapes, conservation past and present, alternative energy, and new technology and research. Only imagination will set the limits! Speakers include Wes Olson: Author, Painter and Bison Specialist, Mike Judd: Founder of the Foothills Bison Restoration Society, Joe Duff: Operation Migration leader, Clio Smeeton: Head of CEI! And many more...The event will also be featuring a silent auction, booths, food service and an art exhibit!
