The Millarville Racing & Agricultural Society has been in existence for more than one hundred years, its origins older than the province of Alberta itself. Relying on more than 600 members and over 400 volunteers to ensure that tradition of giving back to the community preserves our historical events, the Races, the Fair and the Rodeo while the summer Millarville Farmers’ Market and the Millarville Christmas Market in November are also important platforms in preserving our agricultural heritage. The Millarville Farmer’s Market is an outdoor event held at the Millarville Racetrack grounds every Saturday from mid-June through mid-October. You’ll find more than 140 vendors selling local produce, farm-fresh meats, eggs and dairy, artisan breads and baked goods, specialty food and handmade crafts and giftware. Come on down and meet the local farmers, growers, producers and artists, listen to live entertainment and sample some of Alberta’s best. The Millarville Racetrack hosts a series of events throughout the year, including a rodeo, Christmas Market, and half marathon.
