Vermilion Stadium and Arena

Vermilion Stadium and Arena, located in Vermilion in Alberta’s Lakelands region, offers year-round ice sports and events in a welcoming community hub. In winter, the facility features two hockey ice surfaces that host local games, tournaments and practices, often supported by an on-site concession. Skaters also use the ice for figure skating and private bookings, while lacrosse players take advantage of the arena floor when the season shifts. The curling rink is busy throughout the colder months, with an upstairs lounge where visitors can relax and watch tournaments. In summer, the stadium and arena transform to host the lively Trades Show, Beer Gardens and Exhibit hall that form part of the Vermilion Annual Fair.
