The Guild

The Guild in downtown Calgary serves locally sourced Alberta meats cooked over wood and coal for a richly traditional steakhouse experience. Beef, game and fowl take centre stage, with cuts prepared using time-honoured butchery and cooking techniques. The restaurant’s name nods to the guild halls where artists and merchants once gathered, bringing a sense of history and conviviality to the table. Set across two floors of the historic Hudson’s Bay building, the dining room opens onto one of Calgary’s largest patios. The Guild is part of the Oliver & Bonacini portfolio, and partner and founder Michael Bonacini is a judge on CTV’s MasterChef Canada.
