Rocky Mountain House & District Chamber of Commerce

Rocky Mountain House Visitor Information Centre is a great stop for a photo opportunity with a life-size David Thompson statue or their 7-foot-tall local Sasquatch! The centre provides valuable information for the town and surrounding areas, as well as different locations throughout Alberta. Outgoing and friendly staff are available for questions or to provide needed materials to guide the visitor to local attractions, events, and outdoor adventure opportunities, including ATVing, RV camping, cycling, mountain biking, fishing and hiking. Situated within the Rocky Museum (just off Hwy 11) and operated by the Chamber of Commerce, it has received multiple awards for being one of the busiest and best locally-run information centres in Alberta. This centre also offers a variety of local artisan items for sale as well as smaller keepsakes of your visit, as a reminder of the wonderful time spent in the Town of Rocky Mountain House.
