Find glamping luxury amid an authentic western experience at Ride the Wind Ranch. This beautiful spot is about 20 km (15 mi) west of Rocky Mountain House in central Alberta. Ride the Wind Ranch has two cozy cabins that are ideal for romantic weekends, a getaway with friends or some screen-free family time. (There is no Wi-Fi at the ranch.) Each cabin has comfy beds, private bathrooms and plenty of windows. The cabins also have fantastic views of the horse pasture with an unbroken forest and the Rocky Mountains in the distance. A minimum two-night stay is required to book a cabin. Over the winter (November to January), just one cabin is available to rent. Guests enjoy remarkable peace and quiet. Those who want to find a little action can go horseback riding, hiking or fishing in the area. They can also venture into nearby Crimson Lake Provincial Park, which has plenty of recreational opportunities
