The museum is located in the heart of Grovedale, Alberta across from the General Store, on Highway 666 and Township Road 700. Their regular hours run Monday to Friday from noon to 5:00 p.m., and from June to August they are only open on weekends. The museum opened in 2009 to preserve and maintain the history of the area. The main goal is to educate and record stories of a way of life and also celebrate the perseverance, hard work, and stamina of the pioneers.
