James-Wilson Campground

Tucked between the James River and Wilson Creek in Kananaskis, the James‑Wilson Provincial Recreation Area offers a rustic forest escape along Forestry Trunk Road west of Sundre. With around 17 spacious, unserviced sites, it's a first‑come, first‑served campground open year‑round.
