Horizon Flight School

Soaring Over Drayton Valley offers an ultralight trike adventure unlike any traditional flight. Set above the North Saskatchewan River, this open-air experience combines freedom, excitement, and breathtaking views of Drayton Valley’s landscape. Riders feel the rush of wind and the thrill of open-air flight—no cabin, no barriers, just the elements and the sky. With unobstructed views, guests take in winding river valleys, lush forests, and endless horizons from a completely new perspective. Ultralight trikes require minimal runway and can take off from airports, private strips, or even rural fields thanks to their high clearance and flexible suspension. During an introductory flight, guests can even take the controls. Under the guidance of a certified instructor, they learn the basics of aerodynamics, weather, and steering—making the experience both exhilarating and educational.
