Abraham Lake 'Overnight Ice' Photo Adventures

Capture the magic of Abraham Lake in winter on a guided photography adventure, featuring the lake’s famous frozen ice bubbles. This small-group trip includes an overnight stay in Nordegg, allowing photographers to take advantage of sunrise, sunset, and night photography opportunities. The next scheduled trip is January 9–10, 2027, with private bookings available if small-group spots aren’t open. Trips run from November to February, offering the best conditions for photographing unique ice formations. Ice cleats are provided to ensure safe exploration on the frozen lake.
