Lethbridge International Film Festival (LIFF)

The Friends of the Galt Museum and Archives | Akaisamitohkanao'pa presents the Lethbridge International Film Festival (LIFF), a multi-day celebration of local, national, and international cinema. Featuring more than 70 films from around the world, including local productions, LIFF takes place at the Galt Museum & Archives, The Movie Mill, and the Sterndale Bennett Theatre. The festival showcases premieres, exclusive screenings, and opportunities to connect with filmmakers and performers through Q&As and sharing circles. Audiences can also enjoy live musical scores performed over locally commissioned LIFF works, live music, red carpet experiences, cocktails, immersive events, and opening and closing celebrations. LIFF highlights films created by and representing under-represented voices, aligning with the Galt Museum & Archives' mandate to deepen a sense of belonging by reflecting the world around us.
