Join us in experiencing these incredible stories as they come to life, loud and bright on the big screen! 4 screening areas over 3 days will light up exclusive premieres with cast and crew in attendance as well as special events featuring director and actor Q&As, live scores performed over classic silent films, immersive virtual reality experiences and their exciting first Gala to celebrate their shared love of great cinema. LIFF has curated a prolific and engaging selection of films that will inspire, challenge and move you. This year, we are excited to share 54 transformative films, including 37 premieres, from every corner of the world— Germany, UK, France, Spain, Nigeria, Turkey, Sweden, Brazil, Argentina, Palestine, USA, Northern Ireland, Japan, Iceland and of course a diverse selection of groundbreaking works from Canadian filmmakers!
