Be There Races offers the unique experience of the Kananaskis 100 Mile Relay Race. K-100 (as it's fondly known) is a 10-person running relay race that starts in Longview, Alberta, the heart of the foothills, and finishes 160 km later in Kananaskis Village. Running over the Highwood Pass, the highest paved road in the country, runners and spectators will experience some of the most incredible scenery Alberta has to offer. For over 35 years, this event has attracted runners from all over the country and the world. It is one of the best team-building opportunities around. This race welcomes runners of all abilities from recreational to the most competitive so it's suitable for everybody. Saturday morning coffee and breakfast treats start the day of running. The final two legs are on some of the amazing hiking trails near Kananaskis. Finishing in Kananaskis Village at the stunning Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, runners, spectators, and volunteers will enjoy post-race festivities including a delicious post-race meal and beer from local Calgary brewery, Annex Brewery. Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge (PKML) offers a preferred room rate to all K-100 participants, volunteers, and spectators creating a weekend travel experience not to be missed.
