Banff ' Light, Lines & Layers' Landscape Photography Workshop

This weekend Banff landscape photography workshop focuses on chasing dramatic light during one of the most photogenic times of year, the transition to winter. It is the perfect time to photograph as the crowds have died down, the landscape is covered with fresh snowfall & frost, and yet the lakes remain mostly unfrozen. The fragile, fleeting icy edges of these lakes and their accompanying rivers provide additional leading lines that you will take advantage of when searching for compositions at each location. Their base will be in Banff/Canmore, in the heart of Banff National Park and each day they'll venture to different locations in the surrounding area depending on the light and weather. During the sunset, you will visit the top of the Banff Gondola (included in the event cost) for photographing mountain layers so come prepared with your telephoto lens! By the end of the workshop you will have captured some amazing photographs, have learned new techniques & made new friends!
