South Peace Centennial Museum Association in Beaverlodge brings 40 acres of local history to life for visitors of all ages. Step inside an old grain elevator, cook car and Gaudin's Store, then get close to classic cars, working farm equipment and a steam tractor. Historic family stories reveal the people behind the machinery, while picnic tables near a children's park offer families a place to enjoy a bagged lunch. Pioneer Days serves up a pancake breakfast, steam-cooked corn and a popular tractor parade led by steam engines. The season ends with a Harvest Festival filled with fall and pioneer activities for all ages. This volunteer-run museum welcomes visitors seven days a week from mid-May to early September.
