Little Bow Campground

Little Bow Campground is a prairie escape located along the shores of Travers Reservoir near Vulcan, Alberta. Open from late April to mid-October, this spacious park offers 138 unserviced and 86 powered campsites, perfect for both tents and RVs. Scattered trees offer shade, and many sites are reservable up to 90 days in advance. Campers enjoy access to flush and pit toilets, coin-operated showers, a playground, firepits, water taps, a boat launch, and a sewage dump station. A summer concession and boat rentals add extra convenience, while a fish-cleaning station supports angling enthusiasts. The calm waters and breezy conditions make Travers Reservoir ideal for canoeing, sailing, water-skiing, swimming, or just relaxing on the sandy beach. Whether you're into watersports or just soaking up sunshine, Little Bow offers a relaxing and family-friendly setting on the prairie.
