Located along the creek that gives Pincher Creek its name, the Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village is open year-round, with varying hours between summer and winter. Visitors can explore Pioneer Place, home to a Visitor Information Centre, extensive archives, and The Country Store, which offers local and Canadian products, vintage items, and a great selection of books. The Museum Village spans six acres, with 31 historical buildings showcasing artifacts and offering an immersive look at the area's history. The Village features beautiful gardens, picnic areas, a historic rose garden, and a Garden Cafe serving light snacks in the summer. Highlights include the CPR caboose, a 1940s garage, the Waldron Ranch House, and a replica of the Hudson’s Bay Trading Post. New additions include the Wagon Barn and Memorial Gazebo. The Village hosts events throughout the year, plus kids' programs, genealogy and writing clubs—there’s something for everyone!
