Dunvegan Campground

Nestled 18 km west of Cochrane along Highway 1A, Ghost Reservoir Campground lies within the scenic Ghost Reservoir Provincial Recreation Area and provides excellent access to boating and windsurfing on the deep, windswept lake. Operating from May 1 through mid‑October, the campground offers 80 unserviced, first‑come, first‑serve sites at a nightly rate of $31. Each campsite includes a firepit and picnic table, and firewood is available for purchase at $10 per bundle. Vault toilets are on-site, while a hand pump supplies water—though it's wise to bring your own drinking water. With its stunning lakeside setting and outdoor amenities, this campground is a perfect launchpad for aquatic adventures and a memorable mountain-edge retreat.
